Bridging Talents with Real-World Industry Needs at SUPEREKA Bootcamp 2026

SuperekaSUPEREKA Bootcamp 2026, a four-day venture-building programme held from 26–29 January 2026 at UC TATI, Kemaman, was supported through industry participation by Hadid. The bootcamp designed to transform TVET students from technical graduates into industry-ready technopreneurs, brought Hadid to share practical industrial insight. Representing the voice of industry, Hadid ensured that student innovation was anchored in actual market gaps, operational realities, and scalable business relevance, rather than remaining theoretical or academic .

During Day 2 of the bootcamp, Mr. Shamsolnizam Ariffin led a dedicated module on Industrial Problems & Gap Identification, where participants were guided to critically diagnose real operational challenges faced by industries today. This session challenged students to reassess their Final Year Projects (FYPs) through an industrial lens—focusing on practicality, adoption potential, and value creation for end users.

Hadid’s contribution played a defining role in shifting participants’ mindsets from “project completion” to solution commercialisation, helping teams understand what industry truly looks for in deployable technologies and services. Hadid reinforced its long-standing commitment to industry–academia collaboration, talent development, and future-ready engineering entrepreneurship. The programme aligned closely with Hadid’s belief that sustainable innovation emerges when technical capability is combined with industrial validation, business awareness, and strong leadership mindset.

SUPEREKA Bootcamp marks the first phase of a larger innovation ecosystem that will continue through prototyping, incubation, and Demo Day pitching to industry experts and investors. Hadid’s early-stage engagement ensured that participants entered this pipeline with a grounded understanding of industry expectations, execution discipline, and market-driven innovation.

Through its leadership and hands-on contribution, Hadid reaffirmed its role not only as an engineering group, but as a strategic enabler of future technopreneurs, supporting Malaysia’s broader agenda to move graduates from job-seekers to job-creators.
