Hadid Group Joins Hari TVET Negara 2026 GTPC Launching

PUTRAJAYA — Hadid Group was honoured to be invited as an industry expert at the official launch of the GITC TVET Placement Centre (GTPC), held in conjunction with Hari TVET Negara 2026.

The landmark event was officiated by YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Chairman of Majlis TVET Negara, in support of Malaysia’s continued commitment to strengthening its skilled talent ecosystem. “TVET is no longer a secondary pathway but the primary route to quality employment, better income, social mobility and national economic competitiveness,” he said in his speech at the launch ceremony.

As industries continue to transform through digitalisation, artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and advanced manufacturing, the demand for highly skilled, adaptable, and industry-ready talent has never been greater. Recognising this shift, Hadid Group introduced TVET Hero, a digital platform designed to strengthen the connection between talent and industry by creating more accessible pathways to employment, skills development, and career advancement.

The platform aims to empower TVET graduates with greater visibility to employers while helping industries identify and connect with qualified talent more efficiently. By fostering stronger collaboration between education providers, employers, and job seekers, TVET Hero serves as a catalyst for workforce development and supports Malaysia’s aspirations of becoming a competitive, innovation-driven, and high-income nation.

The growing relevance and impact of TVET are clearly reflected in Malaysia’s latest achievements, with the TVET graduate employability rate reaching an impressive 94.5% and enrolment surpassing 423,000 students nationwide. These milestones demonstrate increasing confidence in skills-based education as a key driver of economic growth and workforce resilience.
