Despite the advancement of ICT and telecommunications industry that is aimed at enhancing digital interconnectivity nationwide, there has been very minimal competition in Uzbekistan’s market, causing the monopoly of existing players to remain unchanged. Back in 2019, our company has launched our own brand KHABAR which has become Malaysia’s first Internet service provider in Uzbekistan. We also acquired a license from the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications (MiTC) for Provision and Operation of Data Network Services (ISP).
With the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia as well as the local government, our company has successfully launched a pilot project of high-speed wireless Internet under our own brand, KHABAR, for Digitalizing Khiva City project in 2019.
